Great News + Week 2 of P365

So far 2010 has been absolutely incredible! A few days ago I was invited by one of my favorite designers, Leiko Beck, to be a part of her team! Yes, I cannot believe it either! I'm still pinching myself. LOL. Leiko has the most gorgeous designs. Her kits are always filled with beautiful colors and patterns, and I love love love the touch of Hawaii in her designs! Leora Sanford's Photo Challenge

Leora Sanford is a fabulous designer selling at Little Dreamer Designs. I love her designs and she has these amazing overlays that would do wonders with your photos! She is currently hosting a photo challenge on her blog and I have decided to take part in it. Basically, you take one of your photos then play with it, and post it up on your blog or Flickr to show her the before and after. You can read more about it on her blog. I was really debating whether I should post this picture or not...well I decided to post it! I guess it shows how far I would go for a chance to win some of her beautiful designs! LOL!

Here is a photo of my daughter going through our pile of mail. I love her profile in this photo and think her ponytail is super cute but I completely hate the background. *embarrassed* Hate the clutter and our homemade window treatment. 

Here is the after photo. I ran Pioneer Woman's B&W Beauty action + her Dim the Lights action, then I blurred out the background and cropped it. I kinda like how this turned out. What do you think?

First Week of P365

Yay! Got through the first week! I wasn't sure if I was going to make it but I did it!! Ended up running the same actions in all my photos but I really like how they turned out. It also saved me so much time, time that I will need now because I plan to scrap all my pages! Do you think I am taking on too much here? Anyway, I have been uploading my photos to Flickr and Facebook and have decided that I will post them here every Friday. Here goes the first week.

Lately you really hate taking pictures. Whenever you see me grab my camera you would run away or turn your head away. Tonight while daddy hooked up my new printer we went to hang out in the office with him. You were so cute playing on the bed and letting me take pictures of you. There were times when you would actually look at me and say "cheese" but I was too slow to capture those. I hope you will learn to love the camera more as you get older because I love taking pictures of you.

Today you get to be mommy's little helper (in creating a mess). You get the chair wet, the whole kitchen floor wet, and yourself all wet. You actually ended up making a bigger mess for me to clean than in helping me but it doesn't matter. We both had fun!
